The Issues

Muslim youth can face harassment by their peers, fueled by stereotypes reinforced by the media.

Ignorance about Muslims is rampant in the US, so much so that non-Muslims (like Sikhs) are often confused with Muslims, sometimes with deadly consequences. This harassment is encouraged by elected officials, pundits, and hate-groups who spew anti-Muslim rhetoric without suffering repercussions. All are supported by a network of funders who are difficult to hold accountable.
